<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh, Boy!! I completed another challenge last night but I had to head to bed so</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I could make it to work today before I could post it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uPJW337LdTo/Uiq3onTQbMI/AAAAAAAACPc/NK29gBdGaxE/s1600/Sketch-36.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uPJW337LdTo/Uiq3onTQbMI/AAAAAAAACPc/NK29gBdGaxE/s320/Sketch-36.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Diane's challenge at <a href="http://dianecreateswithpaper.blogspot.com/2013/08/owh-vcmp_31.html">http://dianecreateswithpaper.blogspot.com/2013/08/owh-vcmp_31.html</a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
was to create a card using items that used the letters OWH in the card. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used Sketch #36 for this challenge.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iBUq2bKnSAI/UiksSNce2KI/AAAAAAAACPA/0WgubbHsUJI/s1600/DSCN6604.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iBUq2bKnSAI/UiksSNce2KI/AAAAAAAACPA/0WgubbHsUJI/s320/DSCN6604.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used pinky-<b>O</b>range papers from a spring DCWV stack and <b>O</b>val punches.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had a set - Hey There- by Amy Tangerine (American Crafts) which I purchased at Archiver's and </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
used the three<b> H</b>ouses and the <b>H</b>ello stamps from the set.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used 2 pieces of <b>W</b>hite paper with the card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hopefully, my nod to OWH with my ovals, orange, houses, hello, and white is good for the challenge.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have half of the challenges done now. 4 more to go!</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TN4fID-nnLY/UigBhfJ0i3I/AAAAAAAACNc/QyjN-yx8kK0/s1600/labor-day-vcmp1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="116" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TN4fID-nnLY/UigBhfJ0i3I/AAAAAAAACNc/QyjN-yx8kK0/s320/labor-day-vcmp1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I got the first challenge done!! It's from Nancy at </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://brujahrose.blogspot.com/2013/08/labor-day-weekend-vcmp.html">http://brujahrose.blogspot.com/2013/08/labor-day-weekend-vcmp.html</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I finally used the Fiskars medium hexagon punch I won at Achiver's a few weeks ago.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-znPE0scFg7E/UigG_Cdd-yI/AAAAAAAACOo/LJ20L1IbSAU/s1600/nancys+sketch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-znPE0scFg7E/UigG_Cdd-yI/AAAAAAAACOo/LJ20L1IbSAU/s1600/nancys+sketch.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The card had to be a winter theme. I had purchased the hexagon patterned paper at Tuesday Morning and thought it would be fun to use the hexagon punch with the paper. I used a Hero Arts stamp from one of their Winter/Christmas tag sets. The little snowman is a sticker from Pat Catan's. The words were brads from Oriental Trading.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TN4fID-nnLY/UigBhfJ0i3I/AAAAAAAACNc/QyjN-yx8kK0/s1600/labor-day-vcmp1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="116" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TN4fID-nnLY/UigBhfJ0i3I/AAAAAAAACNc/QyjN-yx8kK0/s320/labor-day-vcmp1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I got another challenge completed! And another Sketch too - #29!!<br />
The challenge #4 was from Annette at <a href="http://byannette.blogspot.com/2013/08/labor-day-weekend-vcmp.html">http://byannette.blogspot.com/2013/08/labor-day-weekend-vcmp.html</a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-h9npnTbrHhw/UigDJeEX3GI/AAAAAAAACOY/kvKddWxAbUo/s1600/Sketch-29.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-h9npnTbrHhw/UigDJeEX3GI/AAAAAAAACOY/kvKddWxAbUo/s320/Sketch-29.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used DCWV stack paper from The Countdown stack. Another stamp from a TPC Studio set. Felt heart ribbon. Elsie embossed paper that I inked. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fdqy7TuA6Qc/UigDJzvYT7I/AAAAAAAACOg/YaKdBTj_j3g/s1600/DSCN6599.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fdqy7TuA6Qc/UigDJzvYT7I/AAAAAAAACOg/YaKdBTj_j3g/s320/DSCN6599.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I was home this past weekend but forgot about the Virtual Card Making Party for Labor Day Weekend 2013. :( I did get 3 of the challenges done for the weekend. Only 3 out of 8!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c7YQ-7zJUJU/UigBx6s9mBI/AAAAAAAACNk/l-c37Yl3Xqw/s1600/188-sketch-Sept-1-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c7YQ-7zJUJU/UigBx6s9mBI/AAAAAAAACNk/l-c37Yl3Xqw/s320/188-sketch-Sept-1-.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here's Sketch #188 which was Challenge 5. I liked this Sketch and will likely use it again. The sentiment "I Miss You" is from a set of Hero Arts, I think and the Love You circle stamp is from TPC Studio. The papers are a variety of DCWV stack papers. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NeLF-WBXiiA/UigDIvS452I/AAAAAAAACOM/UyP6yMa1ySE/s1600/DSCN6597.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NeLF-WBXiiA/UigDIvS452I/AAAAAAAACOM/UyP6yMa1ySE/s320/DSCN6597.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Marlene did the Sketch #188 at <a href="http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-188/">http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-188/</a></div>

The past few weeks have been so busy with the beginning of school and trying to organize my desk and have a new principal and a new secretary.<br />
<br />
So, here's my take on Sketch #187.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kVYPJmVeqSI/Uh1gE2aiwOI/AAAAAAAACNE/WaK2U5P18y0/s1600/187-Jen-CORRECTED-Sketch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kVYPJmVeqSI/Uh1gE2aiwOI/AAAAAAAACNE/WaK2U5P18y0/s320/187-Jen-CORRECTED-Sketch.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IDahTeNxBwk/Uh1f9N4QcSI/AAAAAAAACM8/aDf7L67HEpE/s1600/DSCN6563.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IDahTeNxBwk/Uh1f9N4QcSI/AAAAAAAACM8/aDf7L67HEpE/s320/DSCN6563.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I turned the Sketch #187 on its side. I used a 6x6" pad from DCWV Juniper Berry stack. I love this stack!! It has shiny papers instead of glittery ones. Love the blues.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The sentiment is an new stamp set Type by Hero Arts I got in the clearance aisle of Joann's. The set has Happy Birthday, just missing you, you're my type of friend in addition to a typewriter image. I added some silver nailheads to the card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
sandybear76http://www.blogger.com/profile/05746639350475789182noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5741430248658000654.post-708100627714837352013-08-26T22:29:00.002-04:002013-08-26T22:30:46.902-04:00Sketch #185<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the simple cards and this card Sketch is great!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It will be a favorite!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p-9--lA6Ce4/UhwKCaL1SNI/AAAAAAAACMU/TJfhTzSNaLM/s1600/185-sketch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p-9--lA6Ce4/UhwKCaL1SNI/AAAAAAAACMU/TJfhTzSNaLM/s320/185-sketch.jpg" width="248" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My version of Sketch #185 had a cute little hedgehog and pieces from a 6x6" pad camping.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used green textured cardstock for the bottom and matted the hedgehog on orange cardstock. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I do want to color the teeny-tiny heart on the hedgehog before I send the cards.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the brown paper from Joann's clearance racks. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had silver nailheads left over from the VW bus </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
so I added a few to the bottom of the hedgehog card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u_y0eHoeU7c/UhwKDk-7UjI/AAAAAAAACMY/_ZnIYWetfnI/s1600/DSCN6560.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u_y0eHoeU7c/UhwKDk-7UjI/AAAAAAAACMY/_ZnIYWetfnI/s320/DSCN6560.JPG" width="256" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The hedgehog is from Archiver's Exclusive Groovy card kit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the card kits but I really make the kits as they have planned. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The kits have you make sizes that OWH can't use. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The stamp set in the kit is by Unity Stamps. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here's a photo of my take on the kits. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The kit samples didn't seem very Groovy so </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the included paper for the backgrounds and the various pieces.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aZrhaNZ7gIk/UhwKUSmjixI/AAAAAAAACMg/E2Y9yQEPSvU/s1600/DSCN6556.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aZrhaNZ7gIk/UhwKUSmjixI/AAAAAAAACMg/E2Y9yQEPSvU/s320/DSCN6556.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">And Silly me!!</span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was creating these paint can cards at Table 7 one night </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and didn't realize how close to closing it was. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Just after I put the blue stickles on the cans. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I found some cardboard in the store. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used 2 tiny Glue Dots on the cards and </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
glued the wet cards to the cardboard.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then carried the card-covered box out to my car like a pizza. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
They made it home without any problems. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
No blue stickles anywhere but on the cards!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rRqyu8XksMk/UhwGGypp5pI/AAAAAAAACME/o_DlPtm3InU/s1600/DSCN6550.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rRqyu8XksMk/UhwGGypp5pI/AAAAAAAACME/o_DlPtm3InU/s400/DSCN6550.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I usually print the Sketch of the week so I can take it with me to Table 7 or my scrapbook room or the living room couch - whatever I can create a new card. I purchased a 6x6" Simple Stories 24/Seven pad at Archiver's on Friday and used it to make this Sketch. I had to turn the Sketch 90 degrees so my pieces would fit on the card and still fit the Sketch. I had just gotten my order from Scrapbook.com with a new new stamp set. It is from Inkadinkado set called Good Bye-Good Luck Card Making Set. The little sentiment was just what I needed for this card. A Table 7 girlfriend gave me the black plastic mesh and it needed Terrifically Tacky Tape to hold it down. I thought I would put gems on the bingo cards but the card was getting thick.</div>

Sketch #181 is in the done column!! I finished it today! I used kiwi core'dination paper and gold Thank You printed on cream paper by Paper Studio. I have had the Thank You for a bit but I think I got it at Hobby Lobby and the Core'dination paper was clearance-priced at Pat Catan's (formerly Crafts 2000). The little gemstones were just in the stash. I loved the sentiment from Create with TLC, a freebie that she posts daily. She has some great freebies and a great store too. Check out her site at <a href="http://createwithtlc-createwithtlc.blogspot.com/">http://createwithtlc-createwithtlc.blogspot.com/</a> . The tree was from Creating Keepsakes' freebies. With all the little pieces, I was glad to have my sticker maker from Xyron. It was so much easier to get the adhesive on the little bits than using my ATG runner. I had been a bit apprehensive about this sketch because of the little bits but I do look the finished card. I am all caught up on the summer sketch for now. I still need to get some older sketches done but school is starting soon and I'll be back to work. Where did the summer go!! </div>

Got another sketch done!! I found the papers at Pat Catan's (formerly Crafts 2000) in their clearance section. I surprised to find the Doodlebug 4th of July papers in the clearance but I picked up most of the different designs. I didn't leave much of the papers for others. (Yes, I was a bit of pig but I had ideas for it all!) I loved the bike paper and I had to go into my messy scrapbook room to find the bike/sentiment stamp, which was a Studio G stamp set from Joann's. I used Viva Pearl Pen Ice White for the 3 brads on the sketch. I have plenty of red, white and blue baker's twine that I added to the card. I used VersaMagic Night Sky but it a chalk ink so the sentiment is a bit light but the color matches the paper.<br />

I have been to Memphis, TN; southern Indiana for a retreat; 2 trips to hometown; Juneau, AK; Niagara Falls (both sides) and southern Vermont. I have one more trip to go on Nova Scotia with hubby's family. Then it is back to school in the school office.<br />
<br />
I did have time between the trips and loading & unloading the suitcase to make a few sketches. Here's #182. I used a 6x6" pad I found on sale in Joann's. It was all birthday papers so the strips for this sketches were part of the paper I cut off to make the base. I made a bunch of cards, alternating the base with the strips. I cut 6 different designed papers. I inked a border design on the sentiment block and the base. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set, I think.<br />

I have been busy at home, making cards as hubby was on a business trip. Here's Sketch #120. I like the papers from DCWV 6x6" Fashion District. I added a bit of Washi tape that Archiver's had on sale one day. However, I feel it needs something else. I have orange jeweled flowers but I have used that style a lot lately. I will have to put this one on the back burner for a bit till I get an idea for an embellishment.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I forgot to post this sketch. I had ordered Lawn Fawn's Dewey Decimal paper set from Scrapbook Steals about a month ago. I used the 6x6" pad for the card and the stamp set too. Well, all the items and papers are Lawn Fawn's. The 3 little circles aren't brads but circles punched out of the stickers' package. I faux-stitched around the little blue paper. I had to cut the stamp sentiment for it to fit on the little library due date card. I loved this sketch!!</div>

But I hadn't used many of the images.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FXr1z29aWqk/Udm-1HMCyPI/AAAAAAAACGM/f079boxweeo/s1600/DSCN4358.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FXr1z29aWqk/Udm-1HMCyPI/AAAAAAAACGM/f079boxweeo/s320/DSCN4358.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used girlfriends at the Movies set with Graphic 45's cinema themed papers for my first card. I love the cinema papers and items. I got them at Tuesday Morning, buying several double-sided papers and the paper with the die cuts too. I added jewels and pearls as necklaces and earrings to the girlfriends. The Challenge was Floral so I had to have at least 5 flowers on the card. I added the glittery, jeweled flowers along the bottom of the card and one to one of the girlfriends' hat.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5FJ0qKmNE54/Udm-zuSb3EI/AAAAAAAACF8/orXtLIFrsCA/s1600/DSCN4357.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5FJ0qKmNE54/Udm-zuSb3EI/AAAAAAAACF8/orXtLIFrsCA/s320/DSCN4357.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My second Challenge card used this birthday set. I used DCWV papers from a 4x6" stack and from a 6x6" stack. The black numbered paper seemed too dark so I matted the image on some pink and purple papers, the colors of the girlfriends' dresses. I like the other sentiment that came with the set "Could I borrow some Weight Watchers points?" I added some rhinestone flowers and a bit of glaze pen around the candle flame. I used colored pencils to color the image. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now I check off an item on my summer list - entering a challenge. I haven't entered many challenges before other than adding my card for OWH Sunday sketches. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Have a great Summer.</div>

And my second sketch done this weekend!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used 6x6" papers from DCWV's Girl Frill stack from A.C.Moore. The stack was $3.99 for 180 sheets of paper. I can make lots of cards from this one stack. I inked the edges instead of matting the pieces as in the sketch. I do love matting but I am afraid of the extra weight. The flower and the sentiment have been in a bin of images and I finally used them. I think I got one or the other from Create with TLC a while back. <a href="http://createwithtlc-createwithtlc.blogspot.com/">http://createwithtlc-createwithtlc.blogspot.com/</a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Wow, I got another sketch done and before the end of the month. Of course, I had to pull out a bunch of paper, embellishments and other items before I finally decided what I was going to do with this sketch. Maybe all the items will get put away later. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway, when I was traveling to VT with my older sister to see my little sister, we stopped at A.C.Moore. I found a few 6x6" pads on sale and several found their way into my shopping cart. I used several sheets of papers from DCWV Girl Frill set to make this card. I used AI stamp for the sentiment. I had a bunch of rhinestone stars and hearts in my stash. I did use several mats in this card as the sketch shows but I am always afraid to use lots of mats due to weight in mailing.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm not sure I'm thrilled with my card but here it is!! I fussy-cut the cupcake from the WalMart pink, fun paper kit. The number paper was in the stash. A bit of baker's twine. The Happy Birthday is a roll-on rub-on from Archiver's and I really had to watch how I rolled the saying on the paper so I had at least one whole Happy Birthday saying on the card.</div>

I thought I was following the sketch but I didn't follow it as closely as I should have. I had some tags and used those for the big oval in the sketch. The paper is from the WalMart fun paper kit. A few jewels on the strip and a bit of pink twine completed the card. I don't remember where I got the sentiment.</div>

I did run into WalMart for a bit of shopping during the June quilt retreat and purchased this paper in a kit of pinks, owls, and fun. I fussy-cut the 3 little owls and added green ribbon to the card. The little sentiment is a Studio G $1.00 stamp. </div>
